Dr. Frederick J. Fox III, DMD PA

General Dentist

Dr. Fox was born in Denver, Colorado. He relocated at a young age to Naples, Florida where he graduated from Naples High School.  He subsequently attended Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont. He double majored in biology and history and graduated with honors in ’88.  His professional training included a dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA.  He also graduated from a hospital based general practice residency program from the University of Rochester in Rochester, NY.

In addition to his formal education, Dr. Fox has attended many hours of continuing education in areas including cosmetic dentistry, advanced root canal treatment, minor oral surgery, pediatric dental treatment, oral medicine, implant dentistry and oral radiography.   Dr. Fox is currently a member of the Florida Dental Association and the Maine Dental Association.  He is also a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and former President of the Kennebec Valley Dental Society (Maine).

Dr. Fox and his wife Kerstin recently relocated from Maine with their twin boys Christopher and Frederick.  They currently reside in the Punta Gorda’s Historic District where they have been active members in the community.

Dr. Fox’s community service involvement has included membership in the Punta Gorda Historical Society, Punta Gorda Kiwanis Club, and the City of Punta Gorda Charter Review Committee.  He has also been actively involved with the Charlotte County school system working to improve oral hygiene education in the local elementary schools.

His personal interests include biking, hunting, fishing, boating, kayaking and coaching soccer.  He speaks fluent Swedish and is a member of the Swedish Club of Sarasota.

The goal of his practice is to provide state of the art treatment in a relaxed environment.  He is also strongly committed to working for the betterment of the community.

Lisa Hunter RDH

Registered Dental Hygienist

Lisa was born and raised in Charlotte County, Florida.  She is a Charlotte High School graduate along with her mother and many other family members.  She has been in the dental field since 1998 working as an office manager and dental assistant.  In 2003 she was accepted into the Hygiene program at Edison College and graduated in 2005.  She also received the Dental Hygiene Class of 2005 Patient Education Award.  Lisa enjoys many outdoor activities, such as hunting and fishing. She is currently on the staff for the Caloosa Catch and Release fishing tournament which is very active in Southwest Florida.

Lisa has a strong background in the dental field.  She is very committed to maintaining her patient’s oral health in order to prevent decay and periodontal (gum) disease.  She loves children and uses the latest dental technology to the benefit and comfort of her patients. Scheduling Coordinator

Dennis comes to our office with over ten year of experience working with the public in the medical field.  He will greet you with a smile and is eager to make your experience a pleasant one.

Dennis will help you with your scheduling needs and also assist you with processing your insurance.  Dennis lived a majority of his life in New England.  He graduated high school in his home town of Easton, MA in ’78.  He attended Goddard College in Vermont, majoring in psychology and minored in alternative energy resource.  He is a licensed CNA with hospital setting experience, having worked in the outpatient department as a CNA.  Dennis has two grown children that live in Massachusetts.  He and his wife Renee enjoy motorcycling through the Florida countryside.  As residents of Englewood, they enjoy the beach very much.  Feel free to ask him any scheduling or insurance questions you may have or call him to help you address your dental needs.
